Located right at the harbor edge, "Blue Ocean" offers cuisine entirely dedicated to the diversity of the sea. At its heart are freshly caught fish and a refined selection of sushi, prepared with great care and the highest quality standards. Vegetarian dishes and regional meats leave nothing to be desired.

Our logo, the harbor porpoise, symbolizes our close connection to the coast and our responsible approach to the treasures of the sea.

The harbor porpoise lives in the Baltic Sea and can be sighted off Heiligenhafen in calm seas, often in small groups. It is the smallest of all whales and is also known as the small porpoise. Its short snout distinguishes it immediately from a dolphin.

Our restaurant is located in a listed building that was originally built as a "rescue shed." Here, the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) in Heiligenhafen launched small rescue boats for operations at sea.
